As a long time resident of Hell’s Kitchen I have always enjoyed the Food Festival. Myself, as a solo act, and now my band, myself on vocals and guitar and my drummer, have performed almost exclusively in the neighborhood. I began steady gigs at the Electric Banana Bar, then moved to Bellevue Bar and then to Siberia where we were the ‘House Band.’

As a little trivia, my very first performances in the Kitchen were at O’Donnell’s Bar out on 8th avenue and then at Ruby’s (which later became the 9th Ave. Bistro).
