Swiss Chard & Walnut Lasagne

Swiss chard or spinach, large handful
2-4 ounces walnuts
1 tin of fresh chopped tomatoes
1 small jar of tomato based sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
- Put one layer of lasagne sheets in the bottom of a dish. Simmer Swiss chard in 1" of water for approx 5 mins, drain and place on the lasagne sheets. Add walnuts.
- Place another layer of lasagne sheets onto the Swiss chard and walnuts. Heat the tomatoes with the pasta sauce and then place on the lasagne sheets, making a second layer. Place lasagne sheets on top.
- Heat butter and flour then milk to make a thick sauce. Add cheese and Parmesan to taste. Place this as a final layer on the lasagne sheets. Make sure the lasagne is fully covered with sauce. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese on top. Place in the oven at 400 degrees (F) for about 40 minutes.
