Hell’s Kitchen is the ultimate food neighborhood of New York City, always has been. And the variety of foods available here just gets better. Fresh and cheap produce, butchers and fish shops, ethnic foodstuffs, fresh herbs & spices, gourmet ingredients, specialty cheeses – it’s a New York chef’s paradise here.

The 57th Street Greenmarket, long a fixture of Balsley Park, serves Hell’s Kitchen and Midtown West the freshest seasonal food from local farms. Farmers like Joe Morgiewicz of New York’s famously fertile Black Dirt region offer gorgeous and affordable vegetables, juicy seasonal fruit, and a rainbow of plants, flowers, and herbs for your windowsill or garden. Farmstead cheese, fresh eggs, and plump baked goods round out the offerings. Bring a friend and join us for free recipes, cooking demonstrations, and more.
